The Harborside
It was purchased in 1971 by Robert Aaron, when he changed the name to the Harborside Motel. Mr. Aaron was an avid surfer, surfcaster and a true lover of the "real" Montauk. Over the years, he made many improvements on the property after taking it over while keeping that spirit of a family-friendly Montauk resort intact. He went on to add a couple of tennis courts, and then eventually in the late 1980's, he added seven more rooms and completed the face of the building as it is today.
Today, family members continue the stewardship of this historic property as our staff maintain the same high standards, so our valued guests will continue to enjoy a fun and family-friendly atmosphere.
